OnePlus' new affordable tablet is coming, with powerful battery and stylus support

The OnePlus Pad Go 2 will feature a 12.1-inch 2.8K display, a Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset, a 10,050mAh battery, 33W charging, a 5G variant, and AI features. It will launch on December 17th alongside the OnePlus 15R and Watch Lite.

OnePlus is preparing to launch its new tablet, the OnePlus Pad Go 2, in India on December 17th. Compared to the first-generation model, this time around, the device will feature significant changes in display, battery, and performance. 

Notably, the Pad Go series also includes stylus support for the first time, dubbed the OnePlus Pad Go 2 Stylo. Its price is expected to be between 20,000 and 25,000 rupees.

OnePlus Pad Go 2: When and where will it launch

OnePlus will unveil the Pad Go 2 at its final event of the year on December 17th. The OnePlus 15R and Watch Lite will also be launched at the same event. Sales in India will begin on December 18th, and the 8GB/256GB 5G Shadow Black variant will initially be available.

2.8K resolution and Dolby Vision for the first time

The OnePlus Pad Go 2 features a larger 12.1-inch display with a resolution of 2800 x 1980 pixels. Its 88.5% screen-to-body ratio and 7:5 aspect ratio make it ideal for both reading and viewing content. 

It also boasts 900 nits of peak brightness and Dolby Vision support, which wasn't available in the previous generation. The company is focusing more on entertainment and visual quality this time around.

Performance, Battery, and Stylus Support

The Pad Go 2 will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset, which is a significant upgrade over the previous Helio G99. The tablet will run on OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 and is confirmed to have 8GB of RAM. 

It packs a large 10,050mAh battery with support for 33W SuperVOOC charging, while a 45W charger will be included in the box. The company claims 15 hours of video playback, 53 hours of music, and 60 days of standby.

The most notable feature this time around is stylus support. The OnePlus Pad Go 2 Stylo features 4,096 pressure points and fast charging. A 10-minute charge can last up to half a day, making it very useful for note-takers and students.

What will be the price and where will I get it?

While the official price hasn't been revealed, it's expected to be under ₹25,000, as the previous model started at ₹19,999. 

OnePlus has also confirmed a 5G variant this time around, making it even more useful for travelers and remote workers. Sales in India will begin on December 18th and will be available both online and offline.
