Starlink Business Operations VC Lauren Dreyer met Scindia, while Elon Musk made a major statement

Starlink Vice President Lauren Dreyer met with Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, discussing the promotion of satellite internet and last-mile connectivity in India. Musk posted a post about this, expressing his desire to serve India with Starlink.

Elon Musk is very interested in the Indian market. He wants to expand his business there through Starlink. He is working on a roadmap for this. In this connection, Lauren Dreyer, Vice President of Starlink Business Operations, met with Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. 

Jyotiraditya Scindia posted a post about this, which Elon Musk shared, writing, "Looking forward to serving India with Starlink."

Prior to Elon Musk, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia wrote in his post, "It was a pleasure meeting Starlink's Vice President of Business Operations, Lauren Dreyer, and the senior leadership team. 

We discussed advancing satellite-based last-mile access in India. We are working to advance PM Modi's vision of a digitally empowered India."

What else did Jyotiraditya Scindia say?

In the same post, he further wrote, "Satellite technology will play a crucial role in extending connectivity to the most remote parts of the country and strengthening internet access for every citizen in rural and remote areas. Ensuring that digital inclusion drives inclusive growth."

Starlink is eagerly awaited in the country

Starlink is eagerly awaited in the country. Everyone is eager for information related to Musk's SpaceX satellite internet service, Starlink. 

Recently, the prices of residential plans on Starlink India were revealed. However, after the prices were revealed, Lauren Dreyer, Vice President of Starlink Business Operations, explained that the test data was made public due to a glitch on the site.

Suspense still remains on prices

This means that the suspense over Starlink's pricing in India remains. On December 8th, several reports stated that the company had announced the prices of residential plans. 

The plan will cost ₹8,600 per month, with a one-time hardware cost of ₹34,000 (approximately $100,000). This price includes unlimited data and a 30-day free trial. Currently, this price cannot be trusted, as the company denied it, stating that the site is not yet live.
